Desde a sua introdu\u00e7\u00e3o em 1990 pelo departamento de imigra\u00e7\u00e3o americana, o programa EB-5 fornece uma categoria especial de visto de imigra\u00e7\u00e3o para o investidor internacional dentro dos crit\u00e9rios mencionados acima. Uma das recentes mudan\u00e7as favor\u00e1veis aos investidores \u00e9 que n\u00e3o precisam mais esperar pela aprova\u00e7\u00e3o de sua peti\u00e7\u00e3o EB-5 (at\u00e9 2 anos). Eles podem enviar o formul\u00e1rio I-485 (Ajuste de Status) ao mesmo tempo em que enviam seu I-526 (Peti\u00e7\u00e3o de Imigrante EB-5).<\/p>\n

Isso permite que investidores (e dependentes) atualmente residentes nos EUA com vistos H1-B, B1, B2, (visto de turismo) F1, L1, E2 ou TN solicitem o status de resid\u00eancia permanente legal, imediatamente enquanto aguardam a aprova\u00e7\u00e3o de seu pedido I-526, esperando apenas 6 meses pela aprova\u00e7\u00e3o de seu Ajuste de Status (I-485) antes de poderem solicitar direitos de viagem e autoriza\u00e7\u00e3o de trabalho, o que leva at\u00e9 no m\u00e1ximo 11 meses da data inicial do processo<\/p>\n
